Every year my mom and I go on a Philly adventure. Usually this means we end up at the Philly Zoo but this year we decided to switch things up a bit. And that’s how we ended up at the Franklin Institute. We had a good time and hit all the major exhibits plus caught a movie on black holes in the planetarium and another on coral reefs in the IMAX.

Mmmmmm... tastes just like pumpkin pie.
So it’s pouring buckets of rain outside and guess what Vicki wanted to do? Go get ice cream of course! And it couldn’t be just any ol’ ice cream, it had to be pumpkin ice cream. So a quick Google search and we were off to get our first taste of pumpkin ice cream of the season at Pertuccis in P-ville. To make things even stranger, as we were walking out the door our friend Lynn called asking if we wanted to go out for ice cream with her and Phil. Coincidence? I’ll let you be the judge.

Hooray! We had some time this week to update our wedding ceremony and reception information on our site. Check out our new wedding information page.
About two weeks ago I got a mysterious phone call from Vicki while she was at work. “So what are doing Saturday August 6th?” When I told her nothing much she said that was good and to keep the date open. As I inquired about more information Vicki quickly told me it was a surprise and I would just have to wait and see.

I was driving with my friend Marlee looking for her future wedding dress. All of a sudden, I saw a tall, dark and handsome man waving at us on the side of the road. We immediately had to meet this stranger and his name was wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man.
Even though he was a man with few words, wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man allowed Marlee to take a picture of us. We said goodbye and departed realizing that we had similar dance styles.
